Breakfast en route
A breakfast stop gives everyone a chance to stretch, freshen up and settle into the journey.
First Ganpati Darshan – Mahad | Shri Varad Vinayak
Our first spiritual stop is Mahad, home to the revered Shri Varad Vinayak Temple.
This is where the Ashtavinayak Darshan begins for our group. Take your time for darshan, soak in the peaceful temple atmosphere and begin the pilgrimage with a prayer.
Next stop: Pali
Second Ganpati Darshan – Pali | Shri Ballaleshwar
We continue towards Pali, where Lord Ganesha is worshipped as Ballaleshwar.
The temple has a beautiful connection with the story of young devotee Ballal, making this stop more than just another temple visit. It is a reminder of faith, innocence and unwavering devotion.
After darshan, sit down for a wholesome vegetarian lunch.
Afternoon – Prati Balaji Temple
After lunch, we make our way towards the Prati Balaji Temple at Ketkawale.
The temple offers a change of pace after the first two Ashtavinayak stops, with its striking architecture and peaceful surroundings.
As evening approaches, we continue towards our hotel.
Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Third Ganpati Darshan – Mayureshwar – Morgaon
We arrive at Morgaon, home to SMayureshwar – Morgaon one of the most important temples on the Ashtavinayak Yatra.
Morgaon traditionally holds a special place in the pilgrimage circuit, with the Ashtavinayak Yatra beginning and ending here.
Take a moment here. Walk through the temple precinct, offer your prayers and experience the sense of arriving at the spiritual heart of the journey.
Fourth Ganpati Darshan – Siddhatek | Shri Siddhivinayak
From Morgaon, we continue towards Siddhivinayak Temple, Siddhatek situated near the Bhima River.
Here we seek the blessings of Siddhivinayak Temple, Siddhatek another revered form of Lord Ganesha.

Fifth Ganpati Darshan – Theur | Shri Chintamani
Our next stop is Theur, where Lord Ganesha is worshipped as Chintamani.

Day 3 – Lenyadri, Ozar & Return to Mumbai
The final morning begins with two of the most distinctive temples on the Ashtavinayak circuit.
Seventh Ganpati Darshan – Lenyadri | Shri Girijatmak
We head towards Lenyadri, where the temple of Shri Girijatmak is carved into a rock-cut cave.
The climb is part of the experience. Visitors need to ascend 307 stone steps to reach the temple, with the surrounding hills and greenery opening up along the way.
Take your time with the climb, enjoy the views and then enter the cave temple for darshan.
This is perhaps one of the most memorable stops of the entire Ashtavinayak Yatra.
Eighth Ganpati Darshan – Ozar | Shri Vighneshwar
Our final Ashtavinayak temple is Ozar, home to Shri Vighneshwar.
Eight temples.
Eight forms of Lord Ganesha.
Three days of travelling through Maharashtra.
And countless little moments that stay with you long after the journey ends.
After darshan, we stop for lunch.
Afternoon – Journey Back to Mumbai
With the complete Ashtavinayak Darshan now behind us, we begin our return journey towards Mumbai.
The bus gets quieter as the miles pass. Some people sleep, some talk about their favourite temple, and some simply sit by the window watching Maharashtra roll past.
By evening, we arrive back in Mumbai with tired feet, full hearts and one familiar thought:
