Day 1: The Train Journey—Mumbai to Gokarna

• Hello, fellow Gokarna backpackers!
• Meet the Adventure Geek trip leader at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and board the 12619 Matsyagandha Express.
• Departure: 03:20 PM from LTT.
• Enjoy a fantastic train journey filled with ice-breaking games, fun conversations, and excitement for your upcoming Gokarna backpacking trip.

Day 2: Murudeshwar, Honnavar & Gokarna

Arrive at Murudeshwar station by 5:30 AM. Freshen up in temporary rooms before starting your day.

• Visit the famous Murudeshwar Temple and Asia’s second-tallest Shiva statue overlooking the Arabian Sea.
• Have breakfast and proceed to Honnavar for the scenic mangrove forest backwaters boating experience.
• After boating, enjoy lunch en route to Gokarna.
• Check in at your resort, relax, and get ready for the most magical Kudle Beach sunset from the hilltop viewpoint.
• End the day with dinner and good vibes.

Day 3: Gokarna Beach Trek, Water Sports & Hippie Market

• Wake up to a delicious breakfast and set out for an exciting Gokarna beach trek.
• Trek across the most beautiful beaches: Belekan Beach → Paradise Beach → Half Moon Beach → Om Beach.
• Enjoy thrilling water sports at Om Beach (banana ride, kayaking, jet skiing, and parasailing).
• Witness a spectacular sunset at Kudle Beach.
• Explore the lively Gokarna flea market/hippie market and shop for souvenirs.
• Visit the sacred Mahabaleshwar Temple (optional, on your own).
• Return to your stay for an evening filled with music, games, dance, stories, and fun.

Day 4: Yana Caves & Vibhooti Falls – Return Journey

• After breakfast, check out from the resort.
• Head for an adventurous visit to the mystical Yana Caves trek, famous for its unique black limestone rock formations—Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and Jaganmohini Shikhara.
• Explore the ancient cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
• If time permits, continue to the stunning Vibhooti Waterfalls, surrounded by lush green forests, perfect for relaxation and photography.
• Freshen up, have lunch on the way, and proceed to Kumta Railway Station.

• Board the 12134 CSMT Express back to Mumbai.

Day 5: Arrival in Mumbai—Trip Ends

• Arrive in Mumbai with unforgettable memories, hundreds of pictures, and the joy of your Gokarna–Murudeshwar–Yana–Honnavar backpacking trip.
• Look forward to joining us again on another Adventure Geek tour
